Our friends made a presentation about the tool zooBurst. I enjoyed when l was listening to Zooburst presenation and I found this tool interesting and enjoyable.

    Zooburst is a digital storytelling tool that lets us easily create our own stories. We can use the ZooBurst online. We can download it in our mobilephones and we don't have to make payment for using this tool. I think you will also enjoy when creating your own digitalstory.

     I made a presentation with my dear friend Senanur Oğuz about the Bubble.us. I find this tool very useful, I learned some helpful things about this tool thanks to our presentation and I want to share with you. 

    

     Bubbl is a web tool that enables users to create brainstorming diagrams and mindmapping online. Then ideas and thoughts are recorded in colorful text bubbles linked to the main bubble. It is simple and easy to make digital mindmaps with bubbl.  Brainstorming is a great way of solving problems and coming up with new ideas. And the basic concept behind brainstorming is to capture ideas as quickly as possible. So, at that point, creating mindmap is an efficient part of the brainstorming process. Major ideas are connected directly to the central concept, and other ideas branch out from those. Mind maps can be used to generate, visualize, structure, and classify ideas when you study and organize information, solve problems, make decisions, and write.

    

    For example, when we prepared for this presentation, we created a mindmap showing what we should tell you in our presentation..

                    

    

    We created it on bubbl. us We didn’t have a difficulty thanks to easiness of the tool but rather we got ideas on the content of the presentation easily and swiftly.. So, this mindmap can be called as a summary of the presentation.

    We don't have to make a payment to use Bubble.us  so we can use this tool almost everything in terms of education and studying, I think it trigger our creativity. I hope you will also find it useful :)

Let's "LEARN ENGLISH"

    Learn English is an application whose creator is Tahir Yılmaz, as I understood from the comments he is a Teacher. Thanks to this application students, especially little students whose English level is about elementary or pre intermediate can improve their English with the application Learn English.

    

     Students can study vocabulary and they can make quiz or manyak other activities thanks to this application.  I Download this application from google play and try some of the activities. I think it is very useful app especially in terms of vocabulary learning. 

CREATE YOUR OWN STORY!

   Hello everyone' This week, I made a digital story project with my dear friend Senanur Oğuz. 

   Firstly we created a short story. Our story was about a little girl and her dog, Lassie. Secondly we made animations on the website "Go Animate". (Go animate is a website by which we can make animation with several characters, pictures and effects. We can make animation with go animate online or we can download it. But it is better to download it because we made our animation online and it was a bit difficult for us to upload  our video to You Tube.) It was very enjoyable but it took a bit long time. Finally we added our voices to our animation and uploaded it to You Tube. 

   I think it is very useful because when we recorded our voices we made speaking practice at the same time and we developed our creativity when we created the story. Some parts of the project were difficult to understand for us because we weren't experienced enough about this issue but we solved this problem by making brain-storming.

    As a conclusion, I advise this project to both teacers and students. Students make practice when they make animation, and teachers can use this kind of projects in their lessons especially if they teach young learners.

LEARN ENGLİSH WITH BUSUU

    Hi! This week ı will introduce to you a website, Busuu. 
   Busuu is a social network for learning languages. Busuu was founded in 2008 by Bernhard Niester. It contains activities, online dialog opportunities, grammar rules, exams in 20 languages.

Busuu won the Silver Lion Award for Best Education Start-up in 2011 and it won the BETT EdTeach Innovator award in 2014.

    I used busuu when I was in highschool. It contains some information and activities in 20 languages including Turkish and English. You can select one language or more than one which you want to learn. Everyone, who wants to learn English or another language can use Busuu. It has only one disadvantage: it is free at the beginning but you should make a payment  if you eant to do activities at very high stages.

    This website is more suitable for students but IELT teachers can also use this website because you can correct English learners’ ( they are generally Turkish or Arabic) mistakes so they can understand better in which parts students make more mistakes.

   Hi Everyone!

  This week i want to introduce rss.  RSS is a useful program which has recently become popular. I think it is a very useful program, it has several practical functions which can facilitate our works.  The content, which is presented on the website as RSS, may conclude summary, headline or the whole content which is presented on the website. RSS informs us when one of our favorite bloggers shares something and we don't have to scan all of the posts in our blogspot so thanks to RSS we can save time. I think everyone who uses blogspot should download this application. You can download RSS from playstore.

     Learning from my mistakes: an english teacher's blog. I follow his post easily thanks to RSS. He is an English teacher and he generally writes his own experiences so I enjoy reading his posts. He writes about why children make mistakes, why children aren't good at writing and reading skills. He writes difficulties of both learning and teaching. He mentions that it is very difficult to write long and meaningful articles in one hour in the exam and criticises the education system. I think his experiences will be useful for us in the future.
